DIRECTIONS

From Northern NJ:

Garden State Parkway South to Watchung Ave. (exit #151). Turn right and go west approx. 1 mi. to Grove St. Turn left onto Grove St. and go south 1.4 mi. crossing Bloomfield Ave (fifth traffic light). Grove St. becomes Elm St. (at Bloomfield). Take the first right from Elm St. onto Union St. Go to the second stop sign and turn right onto South Fullerton. We're one block on the left (corner of Plymouth).


From Southern NJ:

Garden State Parkway to Bloomfield Ave (exit #148). Take jug handle left off the exit and turn right onto Bloomfield Ave. Travel west 1.7 mi. and turn left onto to Elm St. (same road is named Grove St. on your right). Turn left (south) and proceed as above.


From Route #3:

Exit Rte. 3 at Grove St. Proceed South 4.2 mi. to Bloomfield Ave where Grove St. becomes Elm St. Follow the Northern NJ directions above from Elm St.

From Route #46:

Exit Rte. 3 at Valley Rd. Take the jug handle turn south (or left) as if going to Montclair State University. Travel on Valley Rd. 4.2 mi. to Bloomfield Ave., turning left (or east) onto Bloomfield Ave. Go to the second stop light on Bloomfield Ave and turn right (a soft right, not the hard right onto Church St.) onto South Fullerton Ave. Take your second right onto Plymouth St.

From the West:

Take Rte. I-287 and/or I-80 to I-280 east to exit 8B (Prospect Ave.). Travel on Prospect north (towards Cedar Grove) 2.3 mi. to Bloomfield Ave., turning east (or right) onto Bloomfield Ave. Go to your 7th traffic light on Bloomfield and turn right onto South Fullerton Ave. (see “From Route #46”) and proceed as above.

DeCamp Bus Lines, Inc. has two buses that serve Montclair.

The #66 line will stop at the corner of Church St. and South Park St. (about a block and a half from the Outpost).

The #33 line will stop at the corner of Bloomfield Ave. and Park/South Park St. (a block further from the Outpost than above).

They leave the Port Authority Bus Terminal for Montclair every half hour. The last #33 back to NYC is 11:30pm.

The Montclair branch terminates at the Bay St. station (“Montclair Bay St. Sta.” on Outpost map) about six blocks from the Outpost.

The Boonton branch has a stop at the Walnut St. station (“Montclair Sta.” on Outpost map) also about six blocks from the Outpost.
